UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Medical Assistant supports the flow of patient care by providing excellent patient relations. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for greeting patients and checking out patients.


What you will be doing

  • Provide general patient care services, including taking patient's vital information, specimen collections, intake registration forms, and conversing with patients to complete records.
  • Scheduling appointments and follow-ups
  • Answering/fielding patient phone calls in a courteous and professional manner and overseeing and ensuring efficient turnover of patient rooms
  • Receive payments from patients for services rendered
  • Checking patients in and out

What you will bring to the team

  • 2 years of experience in the medical field and urological experience
  • Knowledge of HIPPA
  • EMR system experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office
