Description
A Facilities Technician II serves the Bank by performing the following tasks:
- Performing non-janitorial maintenance and repair work on the bank’s various branch locations and other properties owned by the bank.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Exhibit outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Develop and maintain excellent time-management skills.
- Work as a team to achieve individual, departmental, and bank goals.
- Improve knowledge, skills, and abilities through continued professional development.
- Commit to learn banking principles as well as pertinent software applications.
- Be proficient with electronic and telephonic communication systems.
- Be proficient with general office equipment necessary for job function.
- Repair/replace windows, signs, light bulbs.
- Move office furniture and equipment or assist other bank employees in this regard.
- Tend to grounds and perform spring spruce-up of bank-owned facilities
Requirements
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with general woodworking, facility and OREO property repairs and minor plumbing and electrical
- Extensive property maintenance work history which demonstrates experience in business setting is necessary
- Must present a positive and professional image and respect the need of the bank to have its offices and facilities open and available to its customers at all times, including those times when the maintenance person is working within or at a banking location
- A highly developed knowledge of the operation of a variety of power tools and other light construction equipment
