Director of Environmental Services

Essential Job Duties:

• Develop strategies for cleanliness, sanitation, and infection control in the hospital.
• Manage daily operations, including staffing and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with regulations like OSHA, EPA, and Joint Commission.
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe environment.
• Implement quality assurance programs for improvement.
• Lead and train environmental services staff.
• Maintain relationships with vendors for supplies.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Prepare reports for hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in committees for infection control and safety.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Services Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental services management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with other departments.
