POSITION TITLE: Receptionist- General Surgery
STATUS: Full Time (RF Status – 80 Hours/Pay Period)
DAY/SHIFT/HOURS: Monday–Friday 8am-5pm

As a Receptionist you will be responsible for answering phone calls, checking patients in, registering patients, scheduling appointments, scanning documents and other office duties as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Displays excellent communication and customer service skills
- Has ability to work independently and prioritize work
- Can remain calm and function well in a stressful situation

Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience:
- Previous experience in equivalent position, preferably in a hospital or health care setting
Complexity of Work:
- Basic PC, typing, and data entry skills
- Knowledge of health care environment, health insurance, medical terminology preferred
