Personal Bankers

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with others to create a sales environment of client focused service utilizing consultative sales approach to grow market share by attracting, expanding, and retaining commercial, small business and retail loans, and all types of deposit relationships
• Open and close new deposit accounts of all types
• Maintain branch facilities in an organized manner and follow existing Standard Operating Procedures
• Work with others to maintain a positive environment to promote and generate referrals and cross selling utilizing direct calls, networking, and partnerships with other USB bankers
• Provide friendly service to clients and prospective clients
• Greet visitors to branch with friendly and positive with a welcome to my home attitude
• Work as teller as needed
• Assist with online banking needs
• Assist with debit cards needs
• Work Saturday morning schedule and late when scheduled
• ATM service and processing
• Assist with ‘business online’ needs
• Balance internal and correspondent bank accounts as assigned
• Backup Truro: teller, new accounts and daily NSF processing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to provide clients with a high level of individualized service and strategies consistent with their individual and business goals and needs
• Sales and service aptitude utilizing a consultative sales approach
• Attention to details, accuracy, and organizational skills are critical
• Comprehensive understanding of teller line, new accounts and branch operations
• Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Demonstrate excellent work ethic and ability to multitask
• Willingness and desire to be involved in community organizations within the local market; This will involve personal time before and after bank hours
• Interest in community banking
• Pass a personal background and credit check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
