Job description
- Taking beverage & food orders from customers and serving drinks and food as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
- Satisfying patron requests in a timely manner
- Assessing customer preferences and making drink recommendations
- Providing a positive enjoyable friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
- Collecting money from patrons served and providing change as needed
- Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers
- Keeping a well-stocked bar area with an adequate supply of ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories
- Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
- Organization of server & bar area
- Slicing, squeezing and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations
- Limiting customer problems by restricting alcohol intake and attempting to curtail inappropriate behavior
- Excellent emotional self awareness under pressure while maintaining a graceful, warm presence
- Curious intelligence to continue learning in the position
- Open availability and a career mentality
- 2 year experience as a bartender, preferred
- RAMP Certification, preferred
