Position Overview:
· Design aluminum curtain wall, storefront, skylight, & panel systems utilizing AutoCAD.
· Prepare shop drawings include plans, elevations, sections & detail drawings developed from project design documents and specifications.
· Shop drawings will be used by project management & field personnel to successfully complete the project.
· Use shop drawings to prepare fabrication drawings for the specific project.
· Fabrication drawings include part, assembly, & operation drawings, as well as material take-offs, part lists, & detailed process instructions.
· Fabrication-shop drawings will be used by our factory for manufacturing & assembly for successful field installation.
Requirements:
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software is mandatory.
· Revit & Inventor experience is always a plus.
· Capability to produce accurate & thorough work, with special attention to potential problem areas.
· Strong work history & references on past positions held. Construction / Manufacturing experience a plus.
· Ability to communicate effectively with and work within a team environment.
· Strong time management habits and ability to remain focused on extended tasks.
· Self-motivator, proactive, & willing to take on new challenges.
· Overall fenestration experience
· Knowledge of: glazing, windows, and ornamental metals would be a definite plus.
Educational Requirements:
· Associates or Bachelor of Arts Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related discipline.
Additional Details:
· Due to the nature of the work we do, you must be a US citizen.
· Because we don’t offer relocation assistance, regional candidates are by far the most likely to be a fit for us. A willingness to relocate to the Greater Cincinnati area on their own, would of course be just fine.
· Ability to pass required background check & drug screening is part of our routine hiring process.
Compensation based on experience: $55K - $65K/yr.
