*Responsibilities:*
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low and high voltage electrical and electronic systems, including but not limited to lighting, power distribution, security systems, fire alarms, and communication networks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Plan and execute installations, ensuring compliance with safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Perform electrical wiring, cable pulling, conduit installation, and termination of connections.
- Test and validate system components and connections to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Safely work with a variety of tools, equipment, and testing instruments associated with low and high voltage systems.
- Diagnose and rectify issues in electrical and electronic systems, troubleshooting problems to identify root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct system inspections and quality control checks to verify adherence to design specifications and project standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and assist in their skill development.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of installations, repairs, and modifications.
- Collaborate with customers to ensure their understanding of system operations and functionality.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and safety practices related to low and high voltage systems.
Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or electronics is preferred.
- Previous experience as an installation technician working with both low and high voltage systems.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Experience working with electrical wiring, conduits, and cable management.
- Familiarity with a variety of electrical systems and components, including lighting, power distribution, security systems, and communication networks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at various heights and in varying environmental conditions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
