Description
IT Project Manager
Unis, an innovative and growing 3PL company, is looking for an IT Project Manager.
Responsibilities
- Be able to pull teams of resource contributors together to plan what is needed to accomplish the business objectives in more detail.
- Facilitate the development of program plans.
- Lead technology in collaboration with the business for logistics, warehouse, and transportation.
- Manage project teams to meet outlined goals and delivery timelines.
- That the internal company project methodology standards are consistently adhered to.
- Oversight of project quality control.
- The development of project plans.
- Manages assigned project(s) by overseeing initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
- Ensures solutions are transitioned appropriately to the support team through company-defined processes.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Candidate must have strong IT skills.
- Knowledge of Excel, MS Projects, or other project management tools.
- Project Management Institute certification is preferred.
- 10 years of bachelor’s or Masters’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred.
- Significant experience in the IT project delivery function.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience assisting teams with identifying action items, tasks and activities, milestones, deliverables, and tracking progress.
