Product Owner – TMS
We are looking for a Product Owner to enable and deliver on specific projects that will drive our TMS services and analytics capabilities for autonomy in Warehouse, Transportation, Logistics, and other off-road applications. This position will support our organization as we design and build robust data pipelines to enable data-driven business insights and cloud services in Trimble Autonomous Solutions and to create a unique customer experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering teams through the definition, development, and integration of automation and autonomous cloud services. The services will be a key element for highly automated and autonomous machine operation, incl. work or mission planning and operation monitoring. You must be able to operate with a high degree of freedom.
As a Product Owner in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), you will have the opportunity to disrupt the industry and transform the business.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 2 years experience in a product development environment
- Experience in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and proficiency in prototyping and iterative development
- Experience successfully driving delivery of end-to-end data and intelligence solutions, including various mechanisms, e.g., dashboards, APIs, real-time alerts, etc.
- Experience in Agile software product development environment - translating user stories into product development priorities, liaising between the development team and product management
- A solid desire to interact with people and technology in the automation and autonomy world for heavy machinery and equipment
- Familiarity with Cloud applications and services is a plus, e.g., AWS, MS Azure, and Grafana
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willing and able to travel nationally and internationally
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, computer science, or engineering.
- Excellent communication skills to keep local and remote operating team members in sync
- Experience or knowledge of Trimble processes and products is desired
- Software programming development experience a plus
