What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Communications Co-op position at Unispace?
Who you are
You’re studying Marketing and/or Communications, ready to take on a paid co-op role and wanting to do it somewhere that you can learn about and work across multiple regions – Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) and the Americas.
You’re a rare and special breed: a conceptual thinker, natural communicator, and can navigate your way around basic graphics in Adobe Photoshop or Canva (or willing to learn). You’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up and try something new – whether that’s choosing branded merchandise, crafting and responding to Instagram posts, researching to support content planning and creation, or jumping into the CMS to keep our website content up to date.
We need someone who has exceptional written communications skills, an eye for detail and knows how to keep a few plates spinning (a.k.a. time management).
This co-op is 40 hours per week with flexibility. The position will begin in July 2023 and has a duration of six months. To align with this schedule, we recommend that applicants attend a college or university that offers co-op programs, have flexibility with course load to be able to work up to or close to 40 hours per week or be a recent graduate.
Why you’re here
This role centrally supports the global and regional MarComms teams, specifically through three functions within Marketing and Communications:
- Brand and Communications team to be a catalyst for growth by driving brand awareness and brand experience online (content on our website and social channels).
- Content team to create timely and evergreen content pieces and sales-enablement collateral.
- Digital marketing team to help optimize the website and support on campaigns.
This role is one where you can stretch and grow during your six-month placement, gaining real-world knowledge of brand marketing channels, content generation, social media, digital marketing and how to communicate with impact.
