Job Duties

Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales options.

Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning the delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members;

teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

Services existing accounts, obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

Meet sales revenue targets.

Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.

Submits contracts following company pricing policies and procedures.

Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.

Recommends changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by providing information and support.

Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
