Litigation Case Manager for in-house legal department.Position requires independent management of outside counsel (primarily for insured cases); handling day to day supervision of cases, including receiving and providing responses to document and other discovery requests; gathering case information from various business entities; scheduling and attending depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials; and supporting the attorney having ultimate responsibility for the matter.

Required
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Paralegal Certification
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem analysis, and problem solving skills.
- Ability and desire to function both collaboratively and independently.
- +7 years of experience as a practicing paralegal.
- Extensive knowledge of all relevant aspects of case management.
- Extensive knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Significant experience managing cases and managing outside counsel, including receiving and providing responses to document and other discovery requests; gathering case information from various business entities; scheduling and attending depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials; and supporting the attorney having ultimate responsibility for the matter.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
