What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal position at United American Muslim Association?
The United American Muslim Association (UAMA) is looking for a new principal to join our academic team and promote a healthy learning environment for our students. The primary responsibilities will be to supervise the day to day operation of our blended learning system and to monitor the academic staff assigned for its success.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, have at least 2 years experience as a principal or supervisor, understand curriculum and instruction and have a working knowledge of virtual learning.
Responsibilities
- - Oversee day-to-day operations of the school
- - Manage, supervise and evaluate all school staff
- - Establish goals and objectives for students and teachers based on the virtual curriculum provided
- - Present data on school performance to the UAMA Superintendent of Schools
- - Follow the UAMA Model Classroom, blended learning system
- - Interview school personnel
- - Implement all school policies
- - Provide support and guidance to teachers and tutors
- - Address all emergencies as they arise
- - Organize school field trips and other related events
- - Ensure safe and clean environment for students and staff
- - Attend conferences as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools
Requirements
- Master's degree in administration and supervision preferred
- - Previous experience as a principal or supervisor
- - Attention to detail
- - Excellent communication skills
- - A teaching certificate with at least 5 years of teaching experience is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
