SCOPE:

The I.T. Trainee will undergo a comprehensive training program to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills to support our organization's technology infrastructure. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with basic technical knowledge to kickstart their career in the dynamic field of information technology within the insurance industry. DUTIES:

Participate in a structured training program to acquire fundamental knowledge of the organization's technology stack, systems, and protocols
Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain practical insights into the day-to-day operations of the IT department
Provide basic technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software-related issues
Learn to troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and system upgrades
Learn to monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure optimal functionality
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and configurations
Develop skills in documenting technical issues and resolutions for future reference
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute to technology solutions that support organizational goals
Collaborate with IT professionals on special projects and initiatives

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications
Knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and PHP preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
