Responsibilities and Duties

Performing a variety of duties on assigned unit during the second or third shifts to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinate care delivery to ensure residents' needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, facility policies and procedures and federal, state and local guidelines; coordinate with the Director of Nursing to establish specific goals for determining work procedures and expediting work flow; ensuring compliance with all operating policies and procedures and Ohio Department of Health regulations and Federal Health Care Administration regulations.

The qualified candidate will have successfully completed a state-approved pre-licensure nursing education program; Active RN conferred by the State Board of Nursing; must obtain and maintain mandatory, state and federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation; must be CPR certified. Long-term care experience preferred. Good base knowledge of pharmacology, treatments, issues specifically concerning the elderly, dementia, various diseases, and side effects; Demonstrated people skills, with special attention to interfacing with patients" family members; Working knowledge of different cultures and religions.

Qualifications and Skills

Must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

Pay: $33.25 - $36.00 per hour
