Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Claims/Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our organization by handling a diverse range of administrative tasks, including managing claims, performing intake procedures for new clients, answering phones, and assisting the accounting department with check processing and payments. Additionally, you will provide general administrative and clerical support, prepare and edit various documents, prioritize tasks effectively, and ensure attention to detail in all assignments. In this versatile position, you will have the opportunity to assist various departments and wear different hats as needed, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our organization. Furthermore, this role requires the flexibility to be on call after hours a few times a week, ensuring timely support and responsiveness as needed. 3 years of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
● Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth
day-to-day operations.
● Perform intake procedures for new clients, ensuring accurate and efficient
processing of client information. -Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a
professional and timely manner.
● Assist the accounting department with processing checks and payments,
maintaining accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.
● Prepare and edit various documents, such as correspondence, reports, invoices,
memos, and emails.
● Prioritize tasks effectively, troubleshoot issues, conduct research, and ensure
attention to detail in all assignments.
● Perform accurate data entry and document scanning to maintain organized
records.
● Coordinate and manage calendars for executives, ensuring efficient scheduling
and time management.
● Assist in resolving any administrative challenges that may arise, demonstrating
problem-solving skills and initiative.
