Position Title: Commercial LOA
Reports To: Senior Commercial Loan Officer

Salary Grade: 6/6A
SUMMARY:
Structuring of the loan files, typing loan packages, closing loans when necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience in credit, customer service, or bank-related position
- Excellent knowledge of loans, including consumer
- Good telephone and customer service skills
- Proficient keyboarding and computer skills
- Knowledge of loan support computer systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Detail-oriented
- Participate and complete all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide administrative assistance to department loan officers, including taking customer applications, pulling credit reports, preparing loan worksheets and typing loan documents, and when necessary, closing loans
- Coordinate loan closings with attorneys
- Call for payoffs on accounts and mail checks to financial institutions
- Type and file credit approvals and denials
- Prepare loans for processing, make tickets for each loan, request appraisals, remove paid out loans from file, update UCCI’s, and correct non-post loan items
- Handle telephone and written inquiries
- Assemble and verify accuracy of loan documentation
- Work exceptions and past dues
- Transfer and assign notes
- Make and maintain release files, process quitclaim deeds, memo customer files, and process tickets on partial releases of collateral
- Answer overflow calls for loan officers and neighboring employee’s calls
- Type general letters (commitment letters, thank you letters, letters of credit, construction commitment letters, and application letters)
- Disbursement, request and file inspections for construction loans
- Block post for Credit Administration
- Other duties as assigned
