GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for assisting with oversight management of the RCM Systems & Reporting Department’s day to day operations, reconciliation and processes; to include data management, reporting processes and vendor management to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the RCM department.
REPORTS TO: Director of Revenue Cycle Management
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assists the Director of RCM with the day-to-day operations of the RCM Systems & Reporting including work assignments, system integration, staff productivity, training and development of the team.
• In partnership with the Director of RCM, develop, implement and provide ongoing maintenance on systems (eCW), within the RCM department to reconcile data across all disparate systems with the ability to compare, interpret, and resolve.
• Ensure data governance standards are maintained and regulatory requirements are met; perform validations that incorporate data quality and integrity measures to the data and reporting systems.
• Data extraction from various systems sourced through programs to read, write and update the database efficiently.
• Reviews reports and assists to ensure accuracy of outstanding or pending accounts receivable items with vendors related to credit balances and denial management holding the vendors accountable for their performance and notifying appropriate UD personnel if they are not completing the items they are obligated to complete.
• Manages the CMS’ Physician Quality Reporting System, ongoing data collection and documentation accuracy.
• Participates in departmental and cross-functional teams for process standardization, process improvements, validation, and the acquisition, customization, and integration of new tools and technologies.
• Completes requests for information from management, staff and physicians by providing accurate data and timely reporting information.
• Collaborates and cross trains with other RCM departmental leaders.
• Meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards as set by the Director of RCM.
• Abides by and promotes HIPAA compliance; maintains strictest confidentiality with regards to patient information.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of RCM to meet the goals and objectives of the organization.
• Completes monthly departmental AR reporting for discussion and review with equity partner.

• Maintain composure and set a professional example at all times.
• Understand and stay current on data governance, RCM best practices and healthcare financial management regulatory requirements for healthcare financial management
REQUIRED EDUCATION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required; healthcare data management experience required; proficiency in multiple Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel required. 2-3 years of medical office billing experience, and/or medical staff management experience and/or coding required; skills and knowledge of EMR (eClinicalWorks) software functionality and operations preferred; specialty clinical experience in Gastroenterology is a plus.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment; travel as business needs require.
