Job Description
Project Control/Estimating Analyst are responsible for supporting project costs, schedules, estimating, and reporting including engineering, procurement, construction, start up, and operations. Project Controls provides the tools and systems necessary to manage effectively and proactively, control, and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects throughout the organization.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- This is an entry level/early career position with possibly some experience.
- Assist in the preparation of estimates, primarily focused on Energy Delivery, and learning the business by being part of project teams
- Participates in the development and maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) regarding cost and schedule development and control.
- Learn scheduling and participates in schedule development and analysis.
- Assists in preparation of various levels of project reports to meet project needs.
- Participates in project cost and schedule review meetings.
- Participate in KPI’s and construction metrics and trends.
- Assist in measuring progress and review performance trends.
- Supports in tracking subcontractor performance.
- Supports change management process.
- Participates in elements of baseline cost and associated maintenance.
- Supports various levels of project reporting (including daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Assists in performance measurement and associated trends.
Skills / Knowledge Required
- Possesses computer skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
- Highly motivated to learn EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project work
- Interest in Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Earned Value, Cost Forecasting, and Reporting.
Education / Experience Requirements
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or Discipline Engineering
