United Health Services is seeking a Applications Analyst II - REMOTE to join our Epic Inpatient Applications department at UHS Phelps Hall in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

Applications Analyst II - REMOTE / Overview
Responsible for identifying, evaluating, analyzing and recommending changes in support of assigned applications/systems including ongoing production maintenance and trouble-shooting. Supports the planning, design, development, build and/or configuration of assigned applications/systems. Leads and/or coordinates conversions, application/system testing and documentation of system procedures. Participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution in relation to assigned projects. Provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for ongoing maintenance/support and trouble-shooting.
This position is a fully REMOTE position.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:

Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience

Demonstrated competency in Applications Analyst I role
Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (information technology or clinical/healthcare fields)
License/Certification
Minimum Required:

For Epic roles: Current Epic certification(s)

Willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic in application as assigned.

Work is performed remotely or in an office environment which requires working in close proximity to other employees. Room is heated and air conditioned. Remote work arrangements must be reviewed and approved by leadership and performance levels must adhere to position requirements and the UHS teleworking policy.
