Overview

Reporting to the Executive Director of Foundation & Business Development, the Development & Engagement Specialist serves as an important connection between CMH and the greater Chenango community for the purposes of fundraising, engagement, communications, outreach, and advocacy.

The position will help elevate the image and reputation of CMH, as well as raise funds and awareness on behalf of the hospital’s Foundation, through collaboration with donors, community partners, hospital stakeholders, providers and staff.

Education / Experience

Minimum required

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years or equivalent experience in community outreach, communication, fundraising, advocacy, or related field.
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and / or grant writing a plus.
