Position Description:-
- **New York State, where Samaritan is located, is now mandated by the State, that all healthcare workers be vaccinated by 9/26/21 or have their first documented covid vaccine. Medical exemptions are being reviewed by our health department. If your traveler is declining the Covid vaccine & does not have a medical exemption we are unable to consider the traveler. Religious exemptions are no longer accepted per the NY State DOH. Float Pool RN needed 7p-7:30a at Samaritan Medical Center located in Watertown, NY RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU Night Shift, 13 week assignment, possibly longer Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license. Cornary Care experience needed as well Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. First time travelers will NOT be considered. Previous Samaritan employees have to be gone at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. (Contact facility for inquires) Permanent residence of traveler must be at least 60 miles away. Guarantee 3 shifts per week or 6 shifts bi-weekly. BLS and ACLS required. PALS a plus! Meditech experience a plus! *Guaranteed Hours are Bi-Weekly** The facility schedules in two week periods. 72 hour biweekly guaranteed for 12 hour shifts (OT begins after 72); It may or may not be split evenly between the two weeks. **Work Week** The facility's work week is Thursday to Wednesday.
