Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Fort Dodge, IA, 50501
Shift: Days
Salary: $55 to $60 per hour on W2
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team in Fort Dodge, IA. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to help them recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses, and improve their overall physical health and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other interventions to address patients' needs
- Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and provide guidance on home exercises and activities
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to legal and ethical standards in the provision of physical therapy services
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice physical therapy in IA
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Compassion and empathy for patients dealing with physical challenges
