RN/In Home Aide Supervisor

Specific responsibilities of this position will include:

• Traveling throughout the local region
• Assessing client’s activities of daily living and evaluating client’s home environment.
• Conducting initial assessments, supervisory visits and reassessments as needed.
• Being involved in day–to-day management of client needs working closely with the Office Manager to maximize client and employee satisfaction, and compliance.
• Provide new hire orientation and training of aides.
• Meet with potential clients to assess needs and work with them and their family to develop a plan of care to be followed by in-home aide staff.
• Regularly reevaluate the client’s needs and work to provide the needed services for our clients to thrive in a home setting.
• Caregiver skills competency verification.
• Supervise, educate and coach nursing aide staff.
• Marketing with local referral sources.
• Involvement with community marketing activities with the United Home Care Marketing Team to expand awareness of our services.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in North Carolina
• Current TB test
• Preferred experience working with home care or related health care organization
• Preferred experience with senior care and Dementia/Alzheimer patients.
• Ability to supervise and direct staff.
• Out-going personality with demonstrated business acumen
• Prior marketing experience is a plus
