Main Focus:
Manages the product lifecycle and product roadmap by identifying the customer’s need and the larger business objectives of the products in scope. Helps define the product vision and day-to-day activities in support of the business’s overall strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting market research to identify customer needs and preferences, as well as trends in the chemical industry.
- Developing and implementing strategies for NBD and increasing sales and market share of specific chemical products.
- Monitor sales, margin, and pricing product performance and manage improvement strategies development
- Managing the product development process, including working with R&D teams to develop new products and improve existing ones and associated master data setup.
- Staying informed about industry developments and regulations and communicating this information to the rest of the organization.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
- Manage disposition of slow and aging inventory
- Manage customer complaints resolution.
- Manage customer questionnaires requests
Accountabilities:
- Provide support for growth strategies to achieve annual revenue, contribution margin, and EBTIDA objectives
- Customer satisfaction
- Accurate and complete product master data in SAP
- Meet trade working capital and inventory goals.
- Roadmap for mid to long-term business growth at the market and product levels
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor's in business, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field is required
- Experience: 2-5 years in product management, marketing, or sales, preferably in manufacturing industries
- Ability to work in virtual and standard office settings, including sitting, standing, bending, walking, and light lifting
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) are required
- Ability to travel 10-20% domestic and occasionally international
- The individual must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
