PROGRAM MINISTRIES COORDINATOR–35 hours/week
Purpose: The Program Ministries Coordinator will support the Lead Pastor in helping the congregation fully live into their Mission and Vision statements for the FMC of Moorestown.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Education Committee to offer resourcing and direction on discipleship pathways for a variety of small groups; develop and implement an educational strategic plan for all ages, including a strong focus on families.
- Oversee the Congregational Care team and primarily provide, along with the team, regular pastoral care and visitation for homebound members, those sick and in need of care.
- Oversee and collaborate with Missions committee to impact others locally, nationally, and globally.
- Oversee and collaborate with Communications Team and leadership on the implementation of hybrid technology for targeted ministries, including website, hybrid worship, hybrid small groups, administrative committees, and building a strong online presence.
- Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and staff in leading worship, preaching, and teaching with excellence. Sermons, worship, and studies will be relevant, multigenerational, diverse, and inclusive.
- Attends weekly staff meeting; connects with pastor, all staff, and ministry team/leaders in a relational way and on a regular basis to build relationships and accomplish the mission and vision of FMC.
- Provide leadership/resourcing throughout the year and attend meetings of: Christian Education, Congregational Care, Missions Committee, Communications, Reconciling Ministries, Equity and Social Justice.
