What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Clerk position at United Property Restoration Services?
**PART-TIME/ON-CALL HOURS**
Position Overview
Responsible for all data entry, specifically incoming equipment, as well as contracts/quotes and assist with customer service.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Write SCP’s on all incoming equipment, so that the technicians can begin working on it as soon as possible, provided that there is a valid Purchase Order for the equipment, if not contact the customer to issue a Purchase Order for the respective equipment
- Inform Supervisor of delays, special situations, and changes in a delivery or pickup dates
- Contact customers and inform them of any problems or changes concerning proposals, service quotations, equipment status, or schedules
- Coordinate with the supervisor the pick-up, delivery, shipment or receipt of equipment for service
- Review incoming documents for special instructions and accuracy
- Prepares, processes, and expedites documents and forms including invoices, purchase requisitions, packing slips, certificates of calibration and service forms for customers or headquarters
- Enters service data and updates customer records when required
- Performs other job-related duties in area of responsibility as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
Physical Demands
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unaided.
Working Environment
The employee works in a warehouse environment with controlled temperatures. While
performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or
airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
