What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHR Implementation - Training Manager position at United Regional Health Care System?
Summary of Essential Functions:

Responsible for communicating training Epic training policies and procedures across the organization and for overall coordination of training activities and trainers.

Responsible for the overall implementation of the Epic end-user training program as well as ongoing education and maintenance of the training program after go-live.

Responsible for determining required training resources, directing and managing training team staffing, and securing facilities and eq2uipment for classroom training.

Determines curriculum delivery methods, oversees the creation and maintenance of a realistic training environment, creates a course catalog and training schedule, and ensures all users are trained before they access the production environment.
Educational Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Licensure and Certifications:
-
Must complete education and pass certification in assigned EPIC application module(s) within 120 days of completed education.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-
Experience with technology or healthcare strongly desired

Existing knowledge of organizational culture, personnel, processes strongly desired

Capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to clearly communicate results

Ability to lead others and to communicate the importance of training to all stakeholders

Experience with project management, adult education, and curriculum delivery

Strong organizational and coordination skills; ability to sequence activities logically

Ability to develop and adhere to time schedules in order to meet project deadlines

Interpersonal skills to function well in administrative, management, and patient care environments

Ability to work effectively with staff that have a wide range of seniority

Knowledge of and the ability to use PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software to create teaching and learning materials and documentation
Physical Requirements:

Primarily works the day shift tour of duty; additional hours may be asked to work other hours as needed, including weekends.

Will be required to take rotating call to support the applications

May be expected to lift over twenty five (25) pounds.

Ability to distinguish between numbers and symbols.

Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with substantial movement of wrist and/or fingers.
