Role Description
This position is responsible for operating a company vehicle and servicing customer needs by means of jet rodding or clearing sewer lines.
Essential Functions
- Drive and operate company trucks and equipment including, but not limited to the Jet Vac.
- Service various customer needs through the use of company equipment..
- Document any changes to the scope of work or additional instructions to be added to the customer's profile.
- Troubleshoot issues pertaining to the equipment and scope of work. Perform Confined Space Entry.
- Assist with site and equipment set-up and breakdown.
- Perform start / end of day procedures (paperwork, restocking supplies, VIR).
- Perform the work of Jet Vac Operator in the operator's absence.
- Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Vacuum and Jet Trucks Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with people at all levels CDL A or B
Physical Requirements
- Sit while driving and stand while servicing products.
- Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls. Repeat the same movements.
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away and also at greater distance.
- Speak clearly so customers can understand.
- Understand the speech of another person.
- Frequently hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
- Be able to walk up to 30 minutes at a time without exertion.
- Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling.
- Lift up to 40lbs from your waits to your shoulders.
- Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head.
- Crouch and squat.
- Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally.
