Requirements
You must meet several requirements before joining the Air Force. These concern your background, overall health and other standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense and federal law.Minimum Education
For entry into this specialty, a Master's in Social Work from a graduate school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is mandatory.
Qualifications
Knowledge of social work theories, principles, techniques and resourcesEntry-level state license
Must possess a valid and current license by a U.S. jurisdiction at a level allowing independent clinical social work practice
Completion of Officer Training School course
Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
