What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCHEDULING ASSISTANT position at United States Senate?
Junior Republican Senator seeks a Scheduling Assistant to join his Washington, DC team. This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Scheduling with duties including preparing, updating, and distributing the daily schedule for the Senator; making reservations for the Senator’s travel; assisting with office room reservations; and preparing weekly scheduling memorandums. Additionally, this individual will also be responsible for assisting the Chief of Staff with travel logistics including the booking of travel and aiding with reimbursements. This role will require a strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and the desire to excel as part of a team. No previous scheduling experience is necessary, however, candidates should have an interest in pursuing a career in scheduling, logistics, or operations long-term.
