The Promotions Coordinator works with the Loyalty and Personalization Coordinator and Manager of Loyalty & Personalization to develop and coordinate loyalty marketing promotions through the Retalix loyalty software and offer manage systems. The coordinator is responsible for the execution of coupons and discounts and other programs. The coordinator will develop and create targeted promotional offers, and assist in evaluating and engagement. He or she also works with merchandising team to execute promotional offers and special programs to improve opportunity categories and grow sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate activities for the company’s loyalty marketing program in order to increase sales and guest loyalty.
Develop promotions to offer coupons and discounts to Rewards members.
Assist with the review and analysis of programs that enhance basket size and profitability
Communicate with stores on upcoming promotional offers
Assist with the creation and execution of customer activity based promotions by working with marketing and merchandising teams in order to achieve business and category objectives
Supports the guest services team and act as level 2 support and IT liaison for guest related issues.
Develop process as needed to improve the guest experience with the Rewards program
Support stores with training, in-store visits and other tools as needed
Continuously learn and implement tools and features of the Retalix loyalty software
Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, with at least one year of relevant experience
Previous experience with United Supermarkets point of sale, or experience managing promotions for a retail company is desired
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Previous experience in Customer Relationship Marketing applications and other data-based, analytical and mapping software is desired
