CAD Operator

United Talent is currently hiring for a CAD Operator in the Eleanor, WV location.

Job Duties include:

· Producing layout plans, elevations, and part drawings in Auto Cad

· Preparing construction drawings for approval, production, and final submittal

· Coordinating and communicating with engineers, designers, and other CAD operators

· Interpreting concepts, specifications, and drawings to develop construction documents

· Conceptualizing and creating drawings quickly through verbal communication and hand sketches

· Completing orders on time to maintain the customer delivery schedule

· Revising and modifying engineering red line drawings

· Back- checking and reviewing other Auto Cad drawings

· Developing Auto Cad models from customer drawings

· Creating CAD blocks and maintaining library for use with department standards

· Specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures, as well as drafting technical details

· Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors and the administrative team

· Working well with others, taking direction well and executing tasks efficiently

Pay and Shift: Full Time, Monday through Friday 6am-4:30pm, pay is based upon experience

Requirements:

· Strong work knowledge of Auto Cad and Auto Desk software

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

· Ability to read and interpret engineering, construction, and parts drawings

· Ability to work independently and efficiently

· Strong organizational and analytical skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Demonstration of accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality

· Ability to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected challenges with customer projects

· Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents

· Ability to effectively present information

· Dependability

· Good work ethic, ability to follow instructions and responsiveness to management direction

· Ability to organize and prioritize work

· Highschool diploma or equivalent

· Experience working in an office environment

· Experience with activities related to planning and or scheduling

· Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently based on workload
