We are seeking a talented and motivated Deputy Compliance Officer to join our team at United Texas Bank. As a Deputy Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the bank's financial planning and analysis functions. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop, initiate, maintain, and revise policies and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the Compliance Management Program for Community Bank operations.
  • Ensure proper reporting of Compliance Management Program aspects to various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and assist in the administration of regulator and auditor examinations and reviews.
  • Monitor bank activities for potential compliance issues and prepare regulatory reports and filings.
  • Ensure compliance with GLBA, Reg E, CRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate responses to regulatory examinations and audits, correcting deficiencies.
  • Manage CTR filings and exempt person filings for CTR purposes.
  • Identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop corrective action plans.
  • Provide recommendations to business units on new rules and regulations.
  • Assist business units in implementing processes to comply with regulations.
  • Conduct regulatory research for compliance inquiries, projects, and changes.
  • Report violations or potential violations as required.
  • Perform routine monitoring of compliance and communicate results to management.
  • Assist business units in performing Risk Assessments.
  • Develop, oversee, and track compliance training for all employees.

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience as the BSA or Deputy BSA Officer at a community bank.
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in bank administration, risk management, compliance, BSA/AML, and/or auditing.
  • Extensive experience with Federal Reserve Consumer Affairs, BSA/AML, and Fair Lending examination procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank administration, lending, operations products and services, state and federal laws, and Bank operational policies.
  • Excellent ability to interpret and communicate regulatory guidance.
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Experience in delivering compliance communications to personnel.
  • Professional accreditation such as CRCM, CIA, CRP, or CAMS preferred.
  • Highly knowledgeable in Federal Reserve, CFPB rules, and regulations.
