Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director, Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Director, Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, and maintaining electrical systems and components on vehicles. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects and the overall efficiency of our operations.

As you know, automobiles are being built with an increasing number of "Smart Electronics". These may include sensors, cameras, modules, and other electronics that are vital to the automobile's performance. As the complexity of these automobiles increases, it is difficult for a regular technician to do simple tasks such as changing a bumper, troubleshooting an ECM module, or trying to fix a camera.

At United Traders, our business is about wholesaling vehicles to new car stores. Those vehicles must be premium and ready to go . Troubleshooting electrical issues and fixing them is critical to this role.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless performance of each function of the vehicle
- Create and review technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and specifications for technicians to troubleshoot various issues.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical engineering

- Manage and train a group of technicians on troubleshooting issues and how to approach various problems

- Work with business leaders to address various business situations

- Develop engineering and headcount budget to present to management once every quarter

- Create milestones of achievements to be presented to management and reviewed on an annual basis

- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Masters in a business degree or related field to understand the business impact
- Strong knowledge of automobile wholesale industry and demands

- Knowledge of business principles and basic accounting/finance principles in order to put together engineering and headcount budgets

- Knowledge of HR principles and dealing with employees and cross functional teams

- Excellent organization and optimization skills as there will be more than 200 cars per month that need to be checked and fixed if needed
- Experience with soldering techniques for electronic assembly is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
