We are seeking a full-time Ultrasonographer for our office located in [LOCATION]. Our office hours are approximately 32-40 hours/week, Monday- Friday from 8:00AM- 4:30PM.
Ultrasonographer Responsibilities:
- Provide sonogram and oral or written summary of technical findings to physician for use in medical diagnosis.
- Decide which images to include, looking for differences between healthy and pathological areas.
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment and maneuver patients in order to obtain quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Obtain and record in a timely manner accurate patient information, including prior test results and information from physical examinations.
- Maintain patient billing and code capturing protocols in a timely fashion.
- Maintain stock and supplies, preparing supplies for special examinations and ordering supplies when necessary.
- Summarize pertinent findings into the imaging system following proper documentation protocols.
- As part of your positions requirements, you are expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.
- Perform other clinical and office duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications
Ultrasonographer Job Requirements:
- Certificate of completion of requirements from a recognized and accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) board certification or eligibility; Abdomen certification required.
- Minimum of one year of experience performing diagnostic ultrasound studies.
- Maintain CME requirements as required by ARDMS.
- CPR certification is required.
- Ability to travel to other sites as necessary.
