Individual and Family Plans (IFP) is a growing business within UnitedHealthcare. Be a part of the marketing team responsible for creating and delivering marketing strategies and materials to drive growth and retention in our Individual and Family Plans business. The Member Loyalty Associate Marketing Director is responsible for the management of our member engagement marketing communication strategy, as well as ongoing operational triggered communications. This role will be responsible for partnering with core functions within the IFP marketing, product, operations, and clinical teams to deploy operational and member engagement campaigns and initiatives to improve the overall member experience and meet targets to retain existing membership. The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly matrixed work environment with a high degree of individual responsibility and solid collaboration skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead member marketing strategies - including initiatives centered specifically around engagement, care and claims, payments to improve the overall member experience
Create, manage, and execute member facing materials and campaigns
Help improve and promote the tools and resources provided through the digital member experience - including but not limited to the member portal
Produce impactful, action - inspiring content and campaigns that drive outcomes through a digital first mentality
Partner with the member experience teams at the UHG, UHC and individual business segments
Analyze current measures to prioritize initiatives and determine ROI opportunities
Be a representative for IFP member-facing marketing and communication initiatives
Have a deep understanding of the available benefits, programs and tools that can be utilized to improve the member experience
Lead cross-functional partners on the IFP team on programs and initiatives designed to improve the member experience and overall drive revenue.
Serve as the lead for all new plan implementations from the member perspective
Report out to leaders on the results of initiatives and programs

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent experience
8 years of member marketing experience in a complex, matrix organization
3 years of direct team management experience
Experience overseeing and executing on timelines and deliverables
Experience in fast-paced, complex project management, and an ability to juggle shifting timelines and priorities
Intermediate or higher level of proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Track record of establishing effective cross-functional partnerships and relationships at all levels in a highly collaborative environment
Proven outstanding communication skills (persuasive written, oral, and presentation skills)
Proven able to balance strategic thinking with the urgency to drive work forward
Proven ability to adapt quickly to changes in work direction and pivot work accordingly
Proven ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Proven team player with solid ability to form working professional relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
Health care industry experience
Experience in a Start-up / Growth business
Experience in Multicultural Marketing
Fluent in Spanish language

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
