Primary Responsibilities:

• Post-approval safety tracking of a particular drug by reviewing clinical claims data on a prospective basis and performing the requisite analysis using this data
• Maintains registry to track individual outcomes and progress
• Assesses the risks and benefits of marketed medicines
• Provides information to consumers, practitioners and regulators on the effective use of the drug

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (PhD or MD)
• 5 years of related research experience
• 5 years of study design, research methodology, and statistical analysis
• 5 years of experience meeting timelines and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Proven track record in meeting timelines and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in Epidemiology, or related field
• 3 years with direct client contact
• 4 years of experience working with and analyzing large administrative healthcare databases, such as administrative claims data and/or electronic health records
• 4 years of experience applying advanced pharmacoepidemiologic methods, such as propensity score-based approaches
• 2 year of experience with SAS or similar statistical software
• Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as leader of a team
• Proven solid work ethic and demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility with changes in responsibilities and duties

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
