The Bind Writer and Editor is responsible executing content strategy and content writing in addition to broader Marketing proofing and editorial work. This individual will have experience in the healthcare industry, able to write on a clinical/provider level as well as the ability to write content and copy across audiences (B2B and B2C), the ability to closely follow the Bind brand and style guidelines and be able to effectively collaborate with Marketing leadership as well a range of internal stakeholders across departments.
The individual will be uniquely skilled at creating content from a strategic, “big picture” perspective and generate engaging content that reflects the Bind story and voice, supporting various key success metrics and business priorities. Additionally, this individual will have exemplary editorial and proofing skills. The successful candidate will be an established marketing content generator recognized for their impact and results.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to write both clinical copy and tell a brand story, demonstrating the ability to make the complex simple and compelling
- Write content and copy across audience types: B2C, B2B, Member, Provider, Clinical
- Well versed in crafting everything from website copy and sell sheets to thought leadership pieces and video scripts
- Use content to drive reach, reputation, and revenue on a variety of digital platforms (blogs, websites, social media) and traditional outlets (PR, sponsored content, events, etc.)
- Assist with content strategy development and story idea execution to deliver brand vision
- Develop strategy to improve content delivery and promotion, at all digital and traditional touchpoints
- Ability to develop customized materials for specific needs, upon request
- Ability to translate voice principles to bring brand personality to life
- Conduct periodic content audits to demonstrate opportunities and gaps in our content strategy
- Administer and maintain digital asset management platform
- Proof and editorial review new content and copy across wider Marketing needs
- Update older content to meet ongoing content standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Nursing or Medical field, Journalism, Communications or Marketing
- 5 years of experience writing, editing, and creating content
- 5 years of experience in health care content writing
- 5 years of experience in copywriting and presenting content
- 5 years of experience in handling and/or writing copy for marketing campaigns
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Editorial mastery of AP Style and strong attention to detail
- Good analytical abilities to spot patterns and trends in content marketing data
- A creative problem solver who is nimble and flexible
- Works well under pressure in a fast-paced digital/technical environment

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $58,800 to $104,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
