Primary Responsibilities: 

• Positions in this function analyze financial and operational data to identify and assess areas of existing and emerging business risks/losses
• Develops effective risk management strategies and programs, monitors compliance and takes corrective action to limit risk exposure
• Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
• Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource to others

Required Qualifications: 

• 2 years of experience working in a bank or other financial institution with duties focused on documenting policies, standards, and procedures related to implementing sound risk management practices, methods, tools, and processes
• Solid proficiency with Excel
• Functional knowledge in meeting regulatory expectations and standards in all phases of the model development, use, and maintenance process:
  • Model development
  • Model implementation and testing
  • Model controls and security
  • Model documentation
  • Model challenge and validation
  • Ongoing model monitoring and maintenance
  • Model change management and retirement

Preferred Qualifications: 

• SQL and/or Python experience  
• Project Management experience
