By performing MRI imaging procedures at a high technical level, this individual serves patients, physicians and other support staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Move, transfer and prepare patients for exam
- Administering, operating and maintenance of MRI equipment
- Pathology scanning and protocols
- On-going coordination of scheduling process
- Training of new technologists
- Coordinating operations in cooperation with Imaging Manager
- MRI Safety
- Maintain department records, reports and files
- Keep work area clean
- Attend required meetings and participates in committees as requested
- Participate in staff development and educational activities
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Attend staff meetings as required
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology
- Current certification by ARRT in Radiology and MRI
- Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in MRI scanning
- Experience with an electronic medical record system
