Primary Responsibilities:

• Determine the appropriateness of inpatient services following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Translate concepts into practice
• Act as a resource for others; provide explanations and information on difficult issues

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted RN license required in Tennessee
• 3 years of NICU Clinical experience
• 3 years of hands-on clinical experience
• Proficiency in computer skills - Windows, IM, Excel (Microsoft Suite), Outlook, clinical platforms 
• Must have a designated workspace and access to install secure high speed internet via cable/DSL in home
• Must live in Tennessee
• Ability to work weekends on rotation 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Compact License 
• Certified Case Manager (CCM)
• Pre-authorization experience
• Utilization Management experience
• Case Management experience
• Knowledge of InterQual Criteria
• Available to work holidays on a rotating basis
