The Senior Capability Analyst, Find and Price Care, who will operate in our Consumer Product Office, is responsible for creating and refining business and systems requirements to address business opportunities and formulating documentation to support the development and implementation of the technical solution. This position plays a major role in the development and implementation of core business systems and processes. This role will focus on the consumer experience and related solutions to Find & Compare Care across all UnitedHealthcare lines of business. This role partners closely with a Capability Manager to complete assigned projects. In addition, this position serves as the liaison between business users and technology programmers to understand user needs and develop required reporting and data analysis and may serve in a project manager capacity for smaller work efforts. The Sr. Capability Analyst will work with all levels of operational leaders to gain knowledge and necessary approvals for all project work.

Primary Responsibilities:
Analyzes business needs, documents requirements and translates needs into functional, non-functional and/or technical and business operations specifications
Delivers requirements, performs analysis, and evaluates downstream business, systems, process, and/or organizational impacts
Supports end-to-end coordination and alignment for product-related activities
Creating, documenting, and communicating the product roadmap, creating buy-in among all stakeholders
Serves as the liaison between business and technical team, responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements (features / user stories), defining business value and prioritizing business requirements in support of critical business needs
Ensures product's roadmap aligns to business strategy and supports service delivery. Interprets data to make decisions and provides recommendations to leadership for Product Management strategy. Owns correlated product's management documentation
Articulates how their product's capabilities ties into the overall product suite, Engages with IT stakeholders to ensure product changes align with IT strategy
Provides oversight of release activities for the Business (i.e. communication, documentation, training and release notes, etc.). Works with the Capability Manager, Program / Project Manager, User Acceptance Testing and Operational Readiness leads to ensure all stakeholder needs are addressed in the deployment plan
Translate business goals and objectives into actionable, value-driven digital strategies that support consumer products
Advises the appropriate people on the implications of business needs that can be applied to a problem
Identifies risks and issues, and seeks approval on complex matters
Provides subject matter expert and operational support to internal business partners
Partners to create necessary business artifacts (i.e. features, user stories, acceptance criteria)
Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
3 years of experience working in digital or product healthcare strategy
Experience with working with leadership practicing concise and effective communication to gain support for initiatives through influence and use of business rationale
Analysis experience and collecting/writing business and technical requirements
Experience and comfort navigating ambiguity to bring clarity and direction
Experience prioritizing & managing demanding workloads with concurrent deadlines
Experience with workflow mapping into documented visuals
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working with prior authorization or clinical
PMP or Project Management Experience
Agile background
Ability to identify problems quickly and efficiently, find root cause(s), develop solution alternatives and drive resolution
Ability to work across functional teams and develop valuable cross-departmental partnerships

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
