DUTIES: Individually drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and apply existing technology to designs. Create and maintain databases. Debug, code and solve issues. Break the problems into components. Design expertly at the component level. Drive, design review and define interfaces between code modules, and apply existing technology to designs. Consider portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered. Use data and insights from customer and production to contribute to some technical design and implementation decisions. Understand technical debt and make tradeoff between short term and long-term goals of the design to assess technical debt. Provide meaningful contribution to code reviews. Write reusable code, initiate refactoring. Understand performance/scale tradeoffs. Create common tools and apply coding patterns and best practices. Write code that is secure and write automation frameworks that is reusable. Own test plan for the feature. Conduct unit, functional, automation, manual, end-to-end testing. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Computer-related occupation. Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Scala, Java, React, Angular Js, and JavaScript; Database creation and maintenance; Conduct design reviews and code modules interface; Debugging code; Development common tools or libraries such as Git Hub actions or Jenkins; Write and develop the test plan and automation for the features such as Hybrid, Keyword, data driven, Robot or Scala based API frameworks; Dev Ops, K8
RATE OF PAY: $91,042 - $169,950/year
