We are seeking a LMHP to perform assessments for adults having a mental health diagnosis.
The LMHP must be able to complete comprehensive assessments, continued stays, and service authorization requests. Have the ability and resources to obtain community resources and coordinating discharge planning. Individual will assume responsibility for completing initial comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and annual assessments for the purpose of establishing treatment goals and objectives for individuals requiring Behavior Health Services such as Mental Health Skill-Building. LPC will be responsible for completing six-month reviews to determine the individuals continued need for services. Individual will be responsible for completing necessary documentation and submitting authorization requests. Minimal collaboration with Program Director to ensure assessment goals and objectives are addressed according to regulatory standards. LPC will facilitate quality assurance reviews and clinical oversight on a regular basis with MHSB Counselors to ensure goals are being addressed with effective strategies and skills to achieve desired outcomes for individuals in service. LPC is required to provided direct and indirect clinical supervisions to QMPHA'S, QMHPT'S, and paraprofessionals. LPC will take part in DBHDS licensing reviews as it pertains to assessments and the services they provide, if and when necessary. LPC will maintain client records in accordance with license requirements and company standards to ensure confidentiality.
Requirements
- Licensed or license eligible in the state of Virginia (LCSW, LPC or LMHP-R) with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience providing
direct services to adults with mental illness.
- Completed minimum 1-year of clinical experience providing direct services to adult
- Valid VA Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation and car insurance.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer/typing skills.
