What are the responsibilities and job description for the Performance Improvement Coordinator position at Unity Health?
QUALIFICATION:
1. Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent in experience is required. Clinical licensure or degree is helpful but not required.
2. Training and Experience: Should have experience with medical record review, statistical, analytic, and decision support, or be a trained medical professional. Software/applications fluency desirable. Strong computer software skills (All Microsoft Office applications).
3. Job Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement in Healthcare setting. Responsible for data compilation and decision support. Demonstrates ability to compile relevant data sources into meaningful reports for use in performance improvement and decision making. Strong organization skills. Data abstraction and research skills. The associate will be expected to demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills that support the organization's customer service strategy. Responsible for training and support with CPSI, PI/VE, ORM (Occurrence Report Management), and ADN systems.

DESCRIPTION:
The associate is expected to demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills that support the organization's customer service strategy. Responsible for coordination of Performance Improvement team members work efforts. Responsible for preparing statistical reports, meeting minutes, orientation and inservice related materials and preparing policies, procedures, and other related material. Demonstrates the ability to compile relevant data sources into meaningful reports for use in PI and decision making by Unity Administrative, Leadership and Medical Staff teams. Position does not provide direct patient care.
