Unity House is dedicated to making life better for our communities and the Housing Support Services Department has a full-time opportunity for a Vocational Specialist as part of our ACT Team
Responsibilities:
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary mobile treatment team
Work with client for vocational assessment/interest
Job exploration and matching to client’s interest, strengths and abilities
Assist with development of skills to obtain and maintain employment
Knowledge in models of supported employment
Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity
Requirements:
Prefer experience/training in specialty area and demonstration of specific skills or knowledge in models of supported employment
Valid NYS driver License, and an acceptable driving record as determined by company liability insurance required.
Work independently and as a team
Basic computer knowledge
