ESG Data Analyst:
The ESG Data Analyst will report to the Global Sustainability Director as part of the Global Sustainability team. This position will play an important role in helping ensure continued improvement in the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and transparency of Univar Solutions ESG data processes and reporting within our existing reporting frameworks and software. The successful candidate will help ensure progress on our global ESG journey is supported by quality data that will provide increased value to our customers while helping ensure compliance with increased ESG-based regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Processing and analyzing ESG data for input into the Salesforce, Net-Zero Cloud software
- Improving and implementing ESG data management processes
- Conducting internal checks and verification on submitted ESG data and supporting evidence
- Supporting increased capabilities of the NZC software as system representative
- Support internal and external auditing of data as part of broader ESG reporting
- Performs other related duties as required or requested.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelors Degree in Sustainability, Data Science or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in the field of data analytics or sustainability.
- Experience in the development of internal and external data handling processes.
- Evidenced experience using Salesforce systems or other sustainability data management software including Net-Zero Cloud.
- Knowledge of carbon accounting and sustainability data required for ESG Reporting
- Strong working knowledge of data analysis, data management and process development.
- Attention to detail, time management, problem solving, and self-starter initiative with the ability to work both independently and part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
