POSITION PROFILE
Manges the purchase order process from creation to closure to align supply to customer demand. Leads the vendor management process to ensure the vendors meet our expectations. To understand the sales teams’ requirements for our customers to communicate our needs to our vendors.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute daily purchase orders to support customer demand or planning team’s projected sales forecasts.
- Manage open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and purchase order accuracy.
- Oversee vendor relationship with key suppliers, including reporting out vendor performance.
- Work with vendors to ensure PO's are fulfilled On Time In Full (OTIF)
- Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and new item set up processes with the Marketing team
- Work in Oracle to complete daily procurement tasks, purchase order management, vendor & item set up, receipts, invoices, etc…
- Interface with other Global Ricoh business units, including Japanese planning team at corporate headquarters, to support Ricoh USA supply chain
- Support Ricoh USA supply chain’s initiatives to achieve inventory and other targets.
- Other tasks as assigned by management.
